With today’s advancing technology, our pre-press and art department specializes in managing customer files, color management, graphic design and more. We utilize current technology and software applications and are ready to assist customers when questions arise.

The Mitsubishi DPX platesetter is one of the finest additions to the pre-press and art department at Brown County Graphics. With the DPX system, we can output poly plates from customer supplied files directly from our Macintosh G5 systems.

The DPX is powered by our Harlequin RIP and the output resolution is 2540 dpi. Line screens can be adjusted according to each job from 85–175 lpi. The DPX platesetter is unique in the way that each poly plate takes about 3 minutes to produce, which in turn saves production time and saves our customers money.
